    Memorial Garden

After a tornado in 1993 destroyed a tree in his yard, Bill Durrett transformed the fallen tree into a large cross which now marks the entrance to the Memorial Garden.  In early 1997 two Holy Family parishioners donated the beautiful stone sitting wall in the Memorial Garden in honor of their parents.  The first markers were installed in October of 1997.   Holy Family's Memorial Garden provides a consecrated and maintained place for the internment of cremains of church members and their families.  Our garden is a sanctuary of peace, and many people find comfort and strength sitting there among the large trees.  Please contact Joan Greer for more information about the Memorial Garden.
